Senior Vice President, Mid-Atlantic Operations
President, Elizabethtown Gas, Elkton Gas, Virginia Natural Gas
In June 2007, Jodi Gidley was named senior vice president, Mid-Atlantic Operations, for AGL Resources, and president of three of its subsidiaries: Elizabethtown Gas (New Jersey), Elkton Gas (Maryland) and Virginia Natural Gas. Gidley is responsible for these utilities which serve 539,000 customers in three states. Elizabethtown Gas, the third largest natural gas company in New Jersey, serves more than 250,000 residential, commercial and industrial natural gas customers in New Jersey. Virginia Natural Gas is a natural gas distribution company serving more than 250,000 customers in Southeastern Virginia. Elkton Gas serves approximately 6,000 residential and commercial natural gas customers on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
With AGL Resources’ acquisition of the NUI Corporation in November 2004, Gidley was named vice president, gas operations and business process services, for AGL Resources. She was responsible for gas supply and capacity planning, gas control and measurement, LNG and propane peak shaving operations, and business support systems at AGL Resources’ six utilities.
Previously, Gidley served in several positions at Virginia Natural Gas including vice president, operations, and director of financial planning and budgets.
Gidley received her Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Pittsburgh. She received her master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Old Dominion University.
She is a native of Washington, Pa. She and her family reside in Virginia Beach, Va.
