Vice President, Customer Experience and Client Relations

In February 2013, Jeff Howell was named vice president of customer experience and client relations for Pivotal Home Solutions, an Illinois-based company that provides homeowners with peace of mind and added financial stability regarding their energy service delivery, systems and appliances through a suite of home protection products and services.
In this role, Howell is responsible for all call center operations, internal and external client relations, and marketing efforts for customers who hold approximately 1.2 million service agreements with Pivotal Home Solutions. During his tenure with the company, Howell has overseen the successful integration of the NiSource Retail Services business and the launch of the company-wide rebranding campaign. He also led the team that earned Pivotal Home Solutions its seventh consecutive J.D. Power Call Center Certification.
Prior to his career at Pivotal Home Solutions, Howell spent 11 years with SouthStar Energy Services, a joint venture between AGL Resources and Piedmont Natural Gas Company. He held several leadership and managerial positions, all focused on customer experience, and was instrumental in supporting the company's long-term strategic direction, planning and execution of new market entry, and business process outsourcing initiatives. Howell has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, including regulated investor-owned utilities, deregulated electric and natural gas markets, and consulting.
Howell is a member of the Executive Wellness Committee at AGL Resources and led AGL Resources' Heart Walk campaign in Illinois in support of the American Heart Association.
Howell earned his business management degree from LeMoyne College. He resides with his wife and children in Geneva, Ill.
