In February 2013, Jeffrey Howell was named vice president, of customer experience and client relations for Pivotal Home Solutions, an Illinois-based subsidiary of AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS) that partners with leading utilities to deliver various home protection products and services
In this role, Howell is responsible for all call center operations, internal and external client relations, and marketing efforts for more than 1.5 million retail customers. During his first six months in the position, Howell oversaw the successful integration of the Nisource Retail Services business and Pivotalâ€™s seventh consecutive J.D. Power and Associates Call Center Certification. He also provided executive guidance on the rebranding from Nicor National to Pivotal Home Solutions..
Prior to his leading Pivotal Home Solutions, Howell spent 11 years with SouthStar Energy Services, a joint venture between AGL Resources and Piedmont Natural Gas Company. He held several leadership and managerial positions, all focused on customer experience and was instrumental in supporting the companyâ€™s long-term strategic directions, planning and execution of new market entry, and business process outsourcing initiatives.
Howell has more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, including regulated investor-owned utilities, deregulated electric and gas markets, and consulting.
Howell earned his business management degree from LeMoyne College. He also has served as a board member on the Thanks Mom and Dad Fund, a nonprofit organization that provides programs and services for older adults.
Howell resides in Geneva, Illinois.
