Vice President, Utility Marketing
Kevin McCrackin was named vice president, Utility Marketing for AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS) in December 2011. He is responsible for market development and customer retention for the company's seven gas distribution companies: Atlanta Gas Light, Chattanooga Gas, Elizabethtown Gas, Elkton Gas, Florida City Gas, Nicor Gas and Virginia Natural Gas. Through its utilities, AGL Resources serves more than 4.5 million utility customers and is the largest natural gas-only distribution company in the United States by customer count.
McCrackin's industry experience spans more than 30 years. He possesses an excellent reputation as a high integrity, goal-oriented team builder with strong commercial, marketing, financial, operational, communication and leadership skills. Previously, he was president and chief executive officer of UtiliPRO Services, LLC, an affiliate of AGL Resources. Before joining AGL Resources, McCrackin held various leadership positions at Michigan-based DTE Energy, overseeing Business Development, Marketing, Gas Supply and Market Services. Earlier in his career, he served Great Lakes Gas Transmission Company and MCN Corporation.
McCrackin's previous board service includes servings as an executive committee member of the Energy Solutions Center, vice chairman and board member of the Council for Responsible Energy, marketing committee board member for the Southern Gas Association, board member of NGV America and chairman of the marketing and communications committee for the American Gas Association.
McCrackin earned his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and his master's in business administration, economics and finance from Central Michigan University. He lives in Atlanta.
