Clint Whybark was named vice president, System Operations for AGL Resources (NYSE: GAS) in December 2011. He is responsible for system operations for all seven of AGL Resources' natural gas companies: Atlanta Gas Light, Chattanooga Gas, Elizabethtown Gas, Elkton Gas, Florida City Gas, Nicor Gas and Virginia Natural Gas. He is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the company's transmission and pressure operations including transmission lines, regulating facilities, valves, odorizers and pipeline heaters. With 4.5 million utility customers, AGL Resources is the largest natural gas-only distribution company in the United States by customer count.

Previously, Whybark served as assistant vice president, Supply Operations at Nicor Gas. Throughout his 27-year career at Nicor Gas, he held leadership roles in many areas of the company including supply operations, system operations, distribution, energy delivery, new business, construction and maintenance, sales and customer service.

Whybark is an active member of his church and a regular participant in community and volunteer programs. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Respiratory Health Association.

He holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Illinois.

Whybark lives with his wife and two children in Morris, Ill.
