Nicor Gas is the largest natural gas distributor in northern Illinois, serving 2.2 million residential, commercial and industrial customers with reliable supply at the best cost. The company purchases gas during the summer months when it is normally less expensive and stores it for use throughout the year. These gas purchasing strategies, coupled with company-owned underground storage facilities, ensure that Nicor Gas customers receive reliable, competitively priced service.
