AGL Resources supports its core business of delivering natural gas by investing in related companies ranging from pipeline operators to salt cavern storage facilities and even fiber optic networks.

Golden Triangle Storage

Location: Beaumont, Texas
Planned Capacity: Two Caverns 12 Billion Cubic Foot Working Gas Capacity
Pipelines: Facility can interconnect with up to eight intrastate pipelines

AGL Resources is constructing a natural gas storage facility in the Texas Gulf Coast region that will be well positioned to link new supply sources and growing natural gas markets across the U.S. The first storage cavern is scheduled for completion in late 2010.

    Jefferson Island Storage & Hub

    Location: Erath, Louisiana
    Length: 16 miles of dual 16" pipelines that provide interchange capabilities for the facility's eight large capacity interconnections.
    Capacity:Two Caverns 7.5 Billion Cubic Feet Working Gas Capacity

    AGL Resources' ownership of the JISH natural gas storage facility in the Gulf region adds diversity to our existing portfolio of natural gas distribution and other energy services.
