AGL Resources is committed to Supplier Diversity. We aim to develop relationships and increase opportunities with diverse suppliers that provide quality, competitive prices and services. We believe supplier diversity makes good business sense. Supplier Diversity Policy Our policy is to develop diverse suppliers to maximize their opportunities to do business with us. All AGL Resources buyers are encouraged to consider direct contracts and recommend that prime suppliers provide subcontracting opportunities to diverse suppliers.

Second Tier Program
AGL Resources is committed to diversity and supplier diversity. Our prime suppliers are strongly encouraged to provide meaningful contracting opportunities to firms owned by minorities and women. Because we understand the value added by the development of diverse businesses, we promote supplier diversity throughout our existing supply base. We consider second tier (subcontracting) supplier diversity by our prime suppliers as an important component of our supplier diversity program. Supplier diversity is one of the components that AGL Resources evaluates in our RFP decision matrix and we ask that our prime suppliers participate in our supplier diversity program (including reporting on supplier diversity efforts). We require our prime suppliers to report their purchases with diverse suppliers via our quarterly Reporting Form. For primary suppliers participating in AGL Resources second tier program, please report your quarterly spend with diverse suppliers by completing a Reporting Form.

Supplier Diversity Database
Purchasing employees at AGL Resources have access to our Supplier Diversity Database, which contains contact information for certified diverse businesses across the nation. This database enables AGL Resources employees and prime suppliers to search by company name and/or product/service, all of which enables us to find your business easily. Supplier Diversity Connections
We are committed to enhancing business opportunities for diverse suppliers. Through in-house tradeshows, newsletters, events, and educational opportunities, registered suppliers will have access to information, purchasing employees, supply opportunities and overall business development. Supplier Diversity Connections will also facilitate suppliers to develop strategic partnerships with purchasing employees and other 1st and 2nd tier suppliers.
