The Benefits Resource Team will respond to your questions accurately, completely, professionally and in a timely manner. As a call center dedicated to AGL Resources, the BeRT staff is knowledgeable and able to answer your questions about your benefits as well as work internally to resolve problems quickly.
Benefits Resource Team temporarily alters customer service hours
Beginning Aug. 20 through Oct. 8, the Benefits Resource Team (BeRT) will be closed from 8 to 10 a.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays so that the team members can attend customer service training. BeRT’s normal operating hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
The training sessions will prepare the BeRT team for the 2010 Open Enrollment period, ensuring that the representatives are adequately trained to help employees and retirees with the company’s benefits plan.
If employees have benefit questions during that time, please contact BeRT at 1-866-977-4BRT after the training hours. Employees also may leave a message, and a representative will return the call within 24 hours.
Urgent Requests: If an urgent issue such as medical coverage rejection at a doctor’s office or pharmacy comes up while the team is in training, employees and retirees should contact Tony Fernandez at (404) 520-7352. Employees are asked to use their best judgment to determine if an issue truly requires immediate attention.
